The Town's Historical Museum in Klisura was created entirely by donations of  people of Klisura and opened on 2 May 1926 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the April uprising. The museum has a rich collection of works by Zlaty Boyadzhiev, Hristo Stanchev, Dimitar Kirov, Ioan Leviev, Dimitar Kazakov - Nero, Zdravko Zahariev, Dechko Todorov and others. In the exhibition is also presented the rose production with many documents and original exhibits - the whole process of rose boiling and obtaining of rose oil is illustrated. Here you can see the famous cherry  cannons with which the people of  Klisura protected the city during the memorable April days of 1876, the remains of the burnt "Old Church". The bell with which the uprising was declared is also preserved and is a valuable exhibit. The Historical Museum  also has several other sites, including the  Pavurdjieva House,  the Kozinarova House and the  Chervenakova House.
